About Stars Behaviour Services

At STARS Behaviour Services, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and every family deserves the support they need to create a harmonious, happy home. Families often face challenges that require expert guidance, and that’s where we come in. We are an experienced team of behaviour support practitioners passionate about empowering families through evidence-based behaviour solutions tailored to each child’s unique needs.

We're here to nurture your children and provide support to your family members and caregivers ensuring they are equipped with the right resources and personalised strategies to support your child.

Mission

At STARS, our mission is simple yet profound: to provide services that will foster growth, resilience, and confidence in children while supporting families with compassion and care. We believe that every young person has a potential and we're here to help families develop them.

Vision

We envision a world where every child feels supported in their development and every family feels empowered to create positive, lasting change. Done through our "person-centric" approach to our people.

Our Story

STARS Behaviour Services was founded with one goal: to create a space where families feel supported, understood, and equipped to navigate the complexities of childhood development. Over the years, with our comprehensive range of evidence-based solutions supporting children, adolescents and young adults we’ve grown into a trusted partner for families who need interventions with their behaviour, toilet training, sleep routines, and more.

What sets us apart is not just our expertise but our unwavering commitment to every child’s potential. We take pride in celebrating progress (big and small) and walking alongside families as they achieve their goals.

What sets us apart is also our committment to trauma informed ABA intervention: Practical Functional Assessment and Skills-Based Treatment (PFA- SBT) is an evidence-based approach to addressing behaviours of concern. PFA-SBT focuses on reducing behaviours of concern while placing a high priority on safety, student dignity, and practical application.

It focuses on identifying when children are happy, relaxed, and engaged and subsequently teaching them positive skills to meet their needs while enhancing their safety, wellbeing and participation.

Our Values

Compassion

We treat every family with kindness, respect, and empathy, understanding the unique challenges they face.

Excellence

We are committed to providing the highest quality services, continually refining our skills and knowledge to best support our clients.

Collaboration

Ensuring each family is partnered with their assigned behaviour consultant in creating solutions that align with their values.

Empowerment

We aim to equip parents and caregivers with practical support and tools to develop confidence in handling challenges with their child without the need for long term specialist intervention.
