A New Chapter for STARS Behaviour Services

After many meaningful years supporting children, families, educators, and professionals, STARS Behaviour Services has officially closed.

To every family who trusted us to walk alongside you, thank you.

Supporting children and young people through compassionate, evidence-informed practice has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. Every step forward, every breakthrough moment, and every relationship built through this work will always stay with me.

While this chapter has come to an end, the mission and values behind STARS continue forward in new ways.

A Note From Danielle

When STARS began, the goal was simple.

To create early intervention support that felt ethical, practical, and deeply human.

Support that respected each child’s individuality.

Support that worked alongside families.

Support that focused on meaningful, lasting progress.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing moments that continue to stay with me.

The child who joined group time on their own terms.

The young person who found a safer way to communicate overwhelm.

The parent who finally felt confident again.

Those moments mattered deeply.

Thank you for trusting both the STARS team and me with your children, your hopes, and your stories.

What’s Next

While STARS Behaviour Services has now closed, my professional journey continues in a new chapter.

I’m now continuing my work with the Centre for Positive Behaviour Support in Adelaide, supporting children, families, and teams through values-led, evidence-informed practice.

I also continue to serve as President of the Association for Behaviour Analysis Australia, helping strengthen ethical, compassionate, and high-quality behaviour support practices across Australia.

Alongside this next professional chapter, I’m also intentionally creating more space for what matters most — time with family.
